Alexander Augustus – Meet our first artist-in-residency at Cornish Lithium

The (very difficult) selection process is over. We are happy to announce that ALEXANDER AUGUSTUS was chosen as our first artist, soon to be artist-in-residency at Cornish Lithium!

Alexander creates operatic experiences that intertwine the analogue and virtual spaces. His manga- and futuresque imageries are supported by a profound theoretical knowledge in anthropology and art history that opens discourse on the hidden and complex relations in his stories. Alexander has lived and worked abroad extensively, in particular in Korea and Germany, and has a rich professional and practical background in game design, CAD, CNC, 3D modelling and VR. He has exhibited among others at Tate Modern and Somerset House.
